Betty Chinda

Betty has a BSc. in Behavioural Neuroscience from Simon Fraser University. After a year of volunteer with stroke survivors, her journey to the Neurotech lab began in 2016, via the SCORE summer program. Since then, she has worked under supervision of Dr. Xiaowei Song on research to improve stroke care. Her interests lies in diagnostic imaging, overall brain health and wellbeing.  She hopes to proceed to graduate studies in the nearest future to pursue these interests.

She shares her time between her research at the NeuroTech lab and teaching neuroanatomy labs at Kwantlen Polytechnic University. When she's not working, you will find her reading a novel, singing in her church choir or watching new recipes on youtube :)
